Low Volume , Sort-of : WIP Wednesday

I am still plugging away at the sort-of low volume quilt. I think I have decided on the charm squares being 15 across by 17 down but I may change that to 17 by 19 depending on my backing when I measure.. I was HIGHLY inspired by Rita’s patchwork.. she’s got an amazing eye for color so I thought I’d whip some up out of charm squares..

Just look at this stack that I have yet to add to the pile!

Tonight I just turned on Elf and stitched away. It keeps me focused when there is something playing in the background that I enjoy watching but that I have seen a million times (so I don’t watch tv as much as I sew lol).

Amanda was wonderful enough to send me backing! Our local Ikea doesn’t have fabric and I just love this wordy print.. I just cannot wait to see what this looks like as it comes together!

We are so on the same wavelength…I have just finished piecing a low volume top that I just HAD to make. I even notice we have used some of the same fabrics and we also have the same sewing machine.
